Salesforce’s latest Spring ’20 Release - February 17, 2020

Salesforce’s latest Spring ’20 Release is all set to globally available on February 17, 2020. Recently, Salesforce has given a preview of the Release to get a primary look at some of the CRM’s latest features. The new features span across mobile, industry solutions, content management, AI, and much more. 

Top Highlights

Platform

With Salesforce CMS Enhancements, users can now create content and surface it throughout Salesforce. Content can be added to service portals on Community Cloud, landing pages in B2C Commerce, emails sent via Marketing Cloud, and much more. With Salesforce CMS B2B Commerce, B2B Commerce sites can be enhanced with rich content built in the CMS. With Spring ’20, developers can now access API enhancement in the Lightning Platform that includes higher default daily API limits and new, usage-based entitlements for REST and SOAP API requests, ensuring key operations are not interrupted. Application developers will now have more opportunities with Lightning Scheduler as this feature has got many enhancements. 

Sales Cloud

Sales Cloud has introduced some new features which will help the users win more customers. Some of the new features are Task-Queue Assignment to assign a Task to any Queue, High-Velocity Sales Enhancement to automate more complex processes with API availability, Revenue Recognition Reports for CPQ & Billings, Social Intelligence Module to maximize sales potential powered by social data. 


Service Cloud

With the new Service Cloud features, users can build customer loyalty with every interaction. Some of the features introduced in Spring ’20 are; Einstein Article Recommendations that will recommend the best knowledge articles to agents based on case data, Channel Menu that will provide customers with easy access to multiple support channels, Field Service Lightning will now support Global Actions, Digital Engagement will enable customers to reach you through their preferred channels like WhatsApp, Einstein Bots got enhancements & it will now unlock every small detail about your chatbot sessions and review actionable insights. 

Analytics

Salesforce has been introducing powerful features in every new release in order to make its Analytics platform more reliable and robust. In Spring ’20 they have added new features as well as enhanced few existing features. Users can now build a predictive model in Einstein Discovery and perform what-if analysis to determine possible future outcomes. Sales managers can increase sales, improve store compliance, identify stores at risk, and support sales reps with Einstein Analytics for Consumer Goods. 

Marketing Cloud

Marketing Cloud users will now increase reach up to 50% for existing  Audience Studio Marketing Cloud integrations with better email campaigns. With Einstein Content Selection, you can use AI to select the best content and manage real-time user engagement. Empowering the Marketing Cloud Integration with Google Analytics 360, now you can see how SMS messages in journeys impact conversions and other interactions. Users can now build powerful, beautiful dashboards to visualize all marketing data with Datorama Data Canvas.
